Kayaking appeared in Halong Bay in the early 1990s. At that time, this boat was reserved for foreign tourists who loved adventure, but now it is available and popular for Vietnamese tourists as well, especially the young.

Using a kayak, visitors will have an opportunity to discover a different, wonderful Halong Bay that they never could see from a tour boat.

The wonderful beauty of nature can be seen in thousands of limestone islands, caves with fanciful stalactites. Alone or with a companion in a kayak, visitors will discover never-felt feelings when rowing to the foot of rocky mounts to feel the absolute quietness of the bay in sunlight. When your kayak passes unnamed islands, you will see the charm of coral and schools of colourful fish, as well as scenes that you couldn’t find in any tour guide book about the bay.
