The tour starts and ends in Hanoi. In sixteen days, you will explore Laos — The Land of a Million Elephants - with two capital Vientiane and Luang Prabang , the magical temples of Angkor in Siam ReapCambodia , and mysterious Vietnam from the bustle of the Mekong Delta and Ho Chi Minh City to the history of Hue — the Royal City , the charm of Hoi An , the World Heritage Halong Bay and the colonial elegance of Hanoi.

 

 

Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi (B)

Arrive in Hanoi. Meet at Noi Bai airport & transfer to hotel for check-in. Meet with your group-members for talk on the forthcoming tour. A welcome dinner will be hosted by Naciholidays.

Day 2: Hanoi - Vientiane (B,L,D)

We leave Hanoi for Vientiane. Arriving at the Wattay Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Afternoon is city tour visiting the Great Sacred Stupa - That Luang, Wat Phra Keow, Wat Sisaket and the Arc de Triumph.

Day 3: Vientiane - Luang Prabang (B,L,D)

Visit morning market before transfering to airport for a flight to Luang Prabang QV 101 (10:40 - 11:20). Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, you will have tour of town, visiting Wats: Visounalat, known as "the Watermelon Stupa"; the ornate Wat Mai; and Wat Xieng Thong, an exquisite 400 year old royal monastery complex. In late afternoon, we climb Phousi Hill, with its derelict anti - aircraft gun and revered shrine, to view the sunset over the Mekong and mountains beyond.

Day 4: Luang Prabang (B,L,D)

Early morning we will see see long lines of barefoot monks in procession through the streets of Luang Prabang. Afterwards will be an excursion by boat on Mekong river by motorboat to the holy caves Pak Ou, a mystical pilgrimage site above the river. Over the past five centuries, kings, princes, merchants, and peasants have come to the caves to worship, leaving behind more than 3,000 statues of the Buddha. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 5: Luang Prabang - Vientiane (B,L,D)

Visit the former King's Palace, now a national museum and the central market. Continuing on, we visit to H'Mong and Kh'mu villages, a weaving village and the Khuang Si Falls. In the late morning, return to the town and transfer to the airport for your flight to Vientiane by QV106 (17:00 - 17:30)

Day 6: Vientiane - Siem Reap (B,L,D)

Fly to Siem Reap. Arrive at the Siem Reap airport and transfer to hotel for check in. In the afternoon we visit The Southern Gate of Angkor Thom. Famous Bayon complex, Phimean Akas Temples, Elephants and Leper Kinh Terraces. The tour will finish at World Wonder of Angkor Wat Temples and we will watch sunset from Phnom Bakheng Hill. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 7: Siem Reap (B,L,D)

Today we wil visit Pre Rup, Mebon, Tasom, Neak Poan and Preah Khan Temples. In the afternoon, we continue by visitting to Thommanun, Chaosay Tevoda Temples, Spean Thma (the ancient bridge), Takeo, Famous Ta Prohm, Banteay Kdei Temples, terraces of Sras Srang and Prasat Kravan. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 8: Siem Reap - Saigon (B,L,D)

Transfer to Siem Reap airport and fly to Saigon. Meet with our guide and transfer to the hotel for check in. This afternoon we have a cyclo ride through downtown Saigon for a brief city tour.

 

Day 9: Saigon (B,L,D)

This morning we begin with walking tour of Saigon’s famous and historic city landmarks. The tour will take you through the heart of the city along Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), past the Rex Hotel, Ho Chi Minh Square, the Municipal Theatre and Notre Dame Cathedral. We then visit the Reunification Palace (formerly the Presidential Palace) and War Remnants Museum. In the afternoon we drive to Cholon, the Chinatown district of the city where we visit the huge Binh Tay wholesale market and the ornate Thien Hau Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea. After Chinatown we will visit a lacquer ware workshop and do some shopping at central market Ben Thanh.

 

Day 10: Saigon - Vinh Long - Saigon (B,L,D)

We journey to Vinh Long - the heart of the Mekong Delta. Passing a traditional floating market of Cai Be, we experience its excitement and then walk through orchards of mangoes, coconuts and bananas. Continuing on, we paddle in a sampan to the beautiful Binh Hoa Phuoc Island and sample some more exotic fruit of the region before driving back to Saigon.

Day 11: Saigon - Danang - Hoi An (B,L,D)

We take a morning flight to Danang. Upon arrival in Danang we visit the Cham museum and Marble Mountains and China Beach, then we travel to HoiAn. Explore Hoi An and wander its beautiful narrow streets to see the unique Japanese bridge and to pause at some of the old Chinese pagodas. Before returning to the hotel, we travel by sampan on the Thu Bon River at sunset.

Day 12: Hoi An - Hue (B,L,D)

As we journey to Hue we pass the beautiful Hai Van Pass and stop at Lang Co Beach. Arriving Hue, we visit the Royal Citadel where the ruling Nguyen Dynasty and Royal Families used to live. Then we will visit the mausoleum of King Tu Duc, a miniature version of the Royal Palace, which harmonizes perfectly with the natural surroundings. On our return to the hotel and if time permits, we visit the bustling Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 13: Hue - Hanoi (B,L,D)

In the morning we take a boat and travel along the serene Perfume River, visiting the sublime Thien Mu Pagoda built in 1601. Afterwards we transfer to the airport for a flight to Hanoi. After one-hour flight we arrive Hanoi. Meet and transfer to hotel for check-in. In late afternoon, we take a cyclo for brief city tour of downtown Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 14: Hanoi (B,L,D)

In the morning we visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and museum, One-pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc and Quan Thanh temples, the Museum of Vietnam Ethnology. In the afternoon we visit the History Museum, the Temple of Literature, Sword Lake and the Old quarter of Hanoi with its age-old traditional crafts and wares. The evening highlight will be a water puppet show, Vietnam’s famous traditional art dating from 11th century. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 15: Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi (B,L,D)

In the morning we venture to Halong. Upon arrival we board our boat for a cruise on this stunning bay, one of the World’s Wonders, and without doubt, it is the most beautiful scenery in Vietnam. We have fresh seafood for lunch on boat. If the weather is hot, we can swim in the deep blue water of Halong Bay is. We return to Hanoi late afternoon.

Day 16: Departure (B)

You are free until transfer to the airport. End of the tour.
